Spatial measure of reaction size in proton scattering

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2016
The microscopic coupled-channel (MCC) calculations for proton + 12C inelastic scattering are performed in the energy range of Ep = 29.95 MeV to 65 MeV.

Robust Electrocaloric Performance Enabled by Highly‐Polar Frustrated Nanodomains in NaNbO3‐Based Ferrodistortive Relaxor

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
P4bm framework in NaNbO3‐Ba(Ti, Hf)O3 ferrodistortive relaxor entails short‐range and highly‐polar ferrodistortive orders. The abundant highly‐polar orders facilitate to increase entropy change, and robust octahedral oxygen tilt enables to impede thermal perturbations.

Microenvironmental Reprogramming by 3D Anisotropic Cardiac Extracellular Matrix Induces Nuclear Remodeling and Epigenetic Maturation of Chemically Induced Cardiomyocytes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A 3D anisotropic hydrogel derived from heart extracellular matrix guides cytoskeletal alignment and nuclear remodeling in reprogrammed cardiomyocyte‐like cells. This study reveals how matrix alignment modulates nuclear envelope dynamics and chromatin state, triggering transcriptional and functional maturation.

Swelling‐Programmed Topographical Guidance for Dynamic Spheroid Self‐Assembly via a Mechanochemical Hydrogel Niche

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A swelling‐programmed micropatterned hydrogel guides adherent cells through a controlled transition from cell–matrix anchoring to cadherin‐mediated cell–cell compaction, enabling rapid assembly of high‐viability spheroids with defined size and morphology.

Multimodal superposition modeling and acoustic field characteristics analysis of scattering sound field from spherical targets

open access: yesAIP Advances
In this paper, a multimodal superposition model of the scattered acoustic field from a spherical target is investigated and the distribution laws of the scattered acoustic field of different sizes of rigid and elastic spheres at different frequencies are

Spatially Modulated Morphotropic Phase Boundaries in a Compressively Strained Multiferroic Thin Film

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The coexisting rhombohedral‐like (R′, MA) and tetragonal‐like (T′, MC) monoclinic phases in compressively strained bismuth ferrite thin films exhibit exceptional piezoelectric and magnetic properties. While previous studies have largely focused on probing the morphotropic phase boundaries (MPBs) comprising ordered R′/T′ twins, their self ...

Elastic and inelastic scattering of 15n ions by 11B at 84 MeV [PDF]

open access: yesЯдерна фізика та енергетика, 2014
Angular distributions of the 11B + 15N elastic and inelastic scattering were measured at Elab (15N) = 84 MeV. The data were analyzed within the optical model and coupled-reaction-channels method.

Resonance Elastic Scattering and Interference Effects Treatments in Subgroup Method

open access: yesNuclear Engineering and Technology, 2016
Based on the resonance integral (RI) tables produced by the NJOY program, the conventional subgroup method usually ignores both the resonance elastic scattering and the resonance interference effects.

HADRON STRUCTURE AND ELASTIC SCATTERING [PDF]

open access: yesPomeranchuk 100, 2014
When colliding, the high energy hadrons can either produce new particles or scatter elastically without change of their quantum numbers and other particles produced. Namely elastic scatterings of hadrons are considered in this paper. The general machinery of their theoretical treatment is described.
