Stretching the Printability Metric in Direct‐Ink Writing with Highly Extensible Yield‐Stress Fluids
This study introduces “drawability” as a new metric for assessing printability in direct‐ink writing, focusing on gap‐spanning performance and speed robustness. By designing yield‐stress fluids with high extensibility, we demonstrate that extensional strain‐to‐break significantly enhances printability.

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Applications of Physically Based Simulations of Elastic Rods
114 pages ; Supplemental file(s) description: Animations and experiments described in section 4.4., High resolution images from figures 5.8 and 5.9. ; Physical simulations are widely used to recreate the motions of everyday objects, and elastic rods---long and thin deformable bodies---are an important computer animation primitive. In computer graphics,

Substrate Stress Relaxation Regulates Cell‐Mediated Assembly of Extracellular Matrix
Silicone‐based viscoelastic substrates with tunable stress relaxation reveal how matrix mechanics regulates cellular mechanosensing and cell‐mediated matrix remodelling in the stiff regime. High stress relaxation promotes assembly of fibronectin fibril‐like structures, increased nuclear localization of YAP and formation of β1 integrin‐enriched ...

Thermo-physical description of elastic solids
Experiments show that all the derivatives of the thermo-physical variables are nearly constant. The constant value of the derivatives indicates linear relationship between the variables. Neither the volume coefficient of thermal expansion nor the bulk modulus are constant and show pressure and temperature dependence.
