Effect of Elastomeric Bearings in Bridge Piers
In this paper, the influence of elastomeric bearings is investigated in terms of seismic responses and presented under effects of severe ground motions. For this purpose, seismic performance of an isolated pier system is analytically studied by using time history analyses.

Variability of Dynamic Properties of Rubber Compounds for Elastomeric Bearings
The λ-factors for stiffness and damping of rubber bearings should be experimentally assessed during the qualification process or deduced from tests performed on material specimens. Moreover, the λ-factors suggested in the informative annexes of EN 15129 and of EC8-part 2 can be also used as reference values.

Additive Manufacturing of Alumina‐Reinforced Elastomers
Vat‐photopolymerized elastomers reinforced with platelet‐shaped alumina exhibited preferential orientation, reduced porosity, and significantly enhanced mechanical performance. A 3 wt% platelet loading increased tensile strength from 12.4 to 45.7 MPa, highlighting the critical role of filler morphology in elastomeric VPP composites.

This study explores the discrepancies between bulk mechanics and spatial mapping in a tissue‐mimetic hydrogel model. Microplastic particles create localized stiff mechanical microenvironments that are detectable by cellular‐scale nanoindentation but leave bulk properties unchanged as measured by rheology.
