A More Precise Elbow Method for Optimum K-means Clustering [PDF]
K-means clustering is an unsupervised clustering method that requires an initial decision of number of clusters. One method to determine the number of clusters is the elbow method, a heuristic method that relies on visual representation. The method uses the number based on the elbow point, the point closest to 90 degrees that indicates the most optimum

⁻Inspired by the “brick wall” structure of pearl layer, FLICE‐110% liquid‐free ionic conductive elastomer had high mechanical strength (5.46 MPa), excellent ionic conductivity (3.29 × 10−4 S cm−1) and resilience. It can be used in smart music boxes, airplane wings and control manipulators.

Replication of Impedance Identification Experiments on a Reinforcement-Learning-Controlled Digital Twin of Human Elbows [PDF]
This study presents a pioneering effort to replicate human neuromechanical experiments within a virtual environment utilising a digital human model. By employing MyoSuite, a state-of-the-art human motion simulation platform enhanced by Reinforcement Learning (RL), multiple types of impedance identification experiments of human elbow were replicated on ...

A novel conductive elastomer is developed by incorporating deep eutectic solvents into a PVA/Polyacrylic Acid (PAA) network. The synergistic effects of dynamic hydrogen bonds, ionic interactions, and chemical crosslinking result in a highly flexible and dense polymer structure, while the integration of sodium chloride ensures excellent conductivity and

Abstract Galloway–Mowat syndrome (GAMOS) is a very rare condition characterized by early‐onset nephrotic syndrome and microcephaly with variable neurologic features. While considerable genetic heterogeneity of GAMOS has been identified, the majority of cases are caused by pathogenic variants in genes encoding the four components of the Kinase ...

COMPARISON OF KINEMATICS AND ACCURACY OF OVERHAND AMERICAN FOOTBALL THROWING [PDF]
This study examined elbow angle, wrist velocity and throwing accuracy during American Football throws. Six repetitions of three types of throws: Self-selected pass (SS), Lob pass (L), and a Bullet pass (B); were performed to hit a point scaled target ...
