The Electoral District Strategy for Replicated Data in Distributed Systems

In this paper we present and analyze a multi-level voting algorithm for preventing inconsistencies among replicated data in a distributed computer system. The algorithm is a layered combination of the well known write-all/read-one and majority consensus approaches.
