Energy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.A real‐time power quality disturbance generator is developed using virtual instrumentation based on LabVIEW and NI MyDAQ. The system generates IEEE‐standard PQ events with controllable noise and harmonics. Measurement uncertainty analysis confirms its reliability for realistic testing of Power Quality Disturbance detection and classification algorithms.
