Cathodic Cage Plasma Deposition of Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se Coatings on Poly(methyl Methacrylate)
Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se coatings are deposited on PMMA by a modified cathodic cage plasma process, enabling low‐temperature deposition on polymer substrates. A transition from discontinuous to compact morphology is observed with temperature, with optimal properties at 200°C, where improved CuFeSe2‐type bonding, lowest sheet resistance, and favorable ...

Experimental study on the partial discharge and AC breakdown properties of C(4)F(7)N/CO(2) mixture
As an environmental friendly insulating medium, C(4)F(7)N has received extensive attention in the past two years. In this study, the partial discharge (PD) and breakdown characteristics of C(4)F(7)N/CO(2) gas mixture were investigated using the gas ...

Thermal bubble behaviour in liquid nitrogen under electric fields
This thesis describes thermally induced bubble behaviour changes in liquid nitrogen (LN2) under electric fields. Cryogenic liquids such as LN2 have been used not only as the coolant but also as the electrical insulator in superconducting and cryogenic ...

Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Zener tunneling in conductive graphite/epoxy composites: Dielectric breakdown aspects
The electrical responses of conductive graphite/epoxy composites subjected to an applied electric field were investigated. The results showed that reversible dielectric breakdown can easily occur inside the composites even under low macroscopic field ...

Electric field bridging pattern of pre-breakdown and breakdown condition in transformer oil
Transformer is considered as one of the most important equipment in electrical power system networks. However, most problems occurred in transformer were related to the defects and weakness of the insulation systems.

Stretching the Printability Metric in Direct‐Ink Writing with Highly Extensible Yield‐Stress Fluids
This study introduces “drawability” as a new metric for assessing printability in direct‐ink writing, focusing on gap‐spanning performance and speed robustness. By designing yield‐stress fluids with high extensibility, we demonstrate that extensional strain‐to‐break significantly enhances printability.
