Simulating electric double layer capacitance of mesoporous electrodes with cylindrical pores
This paper aims to numerically assess the effects of electrolyte properties and electrode morphology on the capacitance of electric double layer capacitors (EDLCs) made of mesoporous electrodes consisting of ordered cylindrical pores in non-aqueous ...

Cathodic Cage Plasma Deposition of Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se Coatings on Poly(methyl Methacrylate)
Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se coatings are deposited on PMMA by a modified cathodic cage plasma process, enabling low‐temperature deposition on polymer substrates. A transition from discontinuous to compact morphology is observed with temperature, with optimal properties at 200°C, where improved CuFeSe2‐type bonding, lowest sheet resistance, and favorable ...

Enhancing Bubble Removal in Geometry‐Optimized Electrodes
3D‐printed lattice electrodes outperform stochastic foams in alkaline water electrolysis despite 20%–25% lower surface area. Straight flow channels generate Venturi‐like bubble entrainment, suppressing gas accumulation that renders foam interiors electrochemically inactive.

Complex Capacitance Analysis of Porous Carbon Electrodes for Electric Double-Layer Capacitors [PDF]
A new analytical methodology, complex capacitance analysis, is developed for porous carbons that are employed as electric double-layer capacitor ~EDLC! electrodes. Based on the transmission line model, the imaginary capacitance profiles (Cim vs. log f)

Edible electronics needs integrated logic circuits for computation and control. This work presents a potentially edible printed chitosan‐gated transistor with a design optimized for integration in circuits. Its implementation in integrated logic gates and circuits operating at low voltage (0.7 V) is demonstrated, as well as the compatibility with an ...

Method for DC-link capacitance identification in voltage-source converters [PDF]
A DC-link capacitance estimation method is presented for a three-phase voltage-source converter. The measured phase currents and DC-link voltage of the converter are used in formulation of the input and output signals for the estimator.

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.
