Bias‐Free Highly Efficient and Stable Dye‐Sensitized Photoelectrochemical Cells via Cascade Charge Transfer

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A buried‐junction DSPEC design is introduced that leverages cascade charge transfer to enhance efficiency, stability, and versatility. This approach facilitates effective charge transfer and minimizes recombination losses, leading to significant improvements.

Photoswitchable Conductive Metal–Organic Frameworks

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A conductive material where the conductivity can be modulated remotely by irradiation with light is presented. It is based on films of conductive metal–organic framework type Cu3(HHTP)2 with embedded photochromic molecules such as azobenzene, diarylethene, spiropyran, and hexaarylbiimidazole in the pores.

The Electric Properties of the Magnetopause Boundary Layer

open access: yesMagnetochemistry
The magnetopause plays a pivotal role in the coupling among solar wind, the magnetosheath, and the magnetosphere. By analyzing magnetopause crossing events using MMS, we reveal a local non-neutrality of electric charges in the magnetopause boundary layer

Research and application of key technologies in networked control system for heavy haul trains with coupled locomotives in multiple modes

open access: yes机车电传动, 2022
In order to meet the requirements of running over-long, diesel-electric hybrid and power-distributed heavy haul train formations, a multi-mode marshaling was proposed, supporting the diesel-electric coupling and eight-locomotive coupling.

Intermolecular Interactions as Driving Force of Increasing Multiphoton Absorption in a Perylene Diimide‐Based Coordination Polymer

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study uncovers the unexplored role of intermolecular interactions in multiphoton absorption in coordination polymers. By analyzing [Zn2tpda(DMA)2(DMF)0.3], it shows how the electronic coupling of the chromophores and confinement in the MOF enhance two‐and three‐photon absorption.

High Electric Field Enhancement Induced by Modal Coupling for a Plasmonic Dimer Array on a Metallic Film

open access: yesPhotonics
A giant electric field on a subwavelength scale is highly beneficial for boosting the light–matter interaction. In this paper, we investigated a hybrid structure consisting of a hemispheric dimer array and a gold film and realized resonant mode coupling ...

Advancing Electronic Application of Coordination Solids: Enhancing Electron Transport and Device Integration via Surface‐Mounted MOFs (SURMOFs)

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The layer‐by‐layer (LbL) assembly of coordination solids, enabled by the surface‐mounted metal‐organic framework (SURMOF) platform, is on the cusp of generating the organic counterpart of the epitaxy of inorganics. The programmable and sequential SURMOF protocol, optimized by machine learning (ML), is suited for accessing high‐quality thin films of ...

Effect of Combined Static Magnetic Field and Static Electric Field on the Supercooling Point and Quality of Beef

open access: yesFoods
This study introduced a new low-temperature storage method that applies an additional lower strength static electric field (SEF) under the condition of a static magnetic field (SMF) to investigate the impact of magneto–electric coupling on the ...
