Multiphoton spectroscopy: An optical window into molecular electrostatics
Quantitative knowledge about static molecular electric dipole moments is essential for understanding of intramolecular charge transfer as well as nanometer-scale static electric interactions.

Electric Dipole moments of charged leptons and lepton flavor violating interactions in the general two Higgs Doublet model [PDF]
We calculate the electric dipole moment of electron using the experimental result of muon electric dipole moment and upper limit of the BR(\mu --> e\gamma) in the framework of the general two Higgs doublet model.

Versatile electric fields for the manipulation of ultracold NaK molecules
In this paper, we present an electrode geometry for the manipulation of ultracold, rovibrational ground state NaK molecules. The electrode system allows to induce a dipole moment in trapped diatomic NaK molecules with a magnitude up to 68% of their ...

Stark Effect for Donors in Rolled-Up Quantum Well
We calculate energies of shallow donors confined in a rolled-up quantum well in the presence of the electric field by solving numerically the Schrödinger equation in natural curvilinear coordinates. It is found that the curves of density of states (DOSs)

Electric dipole moments in split supersymmetry [PDF]
We perform a quantitative study of the neutron and electron electric dipole moments (EDM) in Supersymmetry, in the limit of heavy scalars. The leading contributions arise at two loops. We give the complete analytic result, including a new contribution associated with Z-Higgs exchange, which plays an important and often leading role in the neutron EDM ...

Confronting Higgcision with electric dipole moments [PDF]
Current data on the signal strengths and angular spectrum of the 125.5 GeV Higgs boson still allow a CP-mixed state, namely, the pseudoscalar coupling to the top quark can be as sizable as the scalar coupling: $C_u^S \approx C_u^P =1/2$. CP violation can then arise and manifest in sizable electric dipole moments (EDMs).

Electric Octupole-Dependent Contributions to Optical Binding Energy
Contributions to the radiation-induced dispersion energy shift between two interacting particles dependent on the electric octupole moment are calculated using a physical picture in which moments induced by applied fluctuating electromagnetic fields are ...

Polarimetry for a storage-ring electric-dipole-moment measurement [PDF]
These proceedings summarize the progress which has been made within the Jülich Electric Dipole Moment Investigations (JEDI) Collaboration on deuteron beam polarimetry for a storage-ring electric-dipole-moment (EDM) measurement.

The roton excitation in the superfluid He-4 does not possess a stationary dipole moment. However, a roton has an instantaneous dipole moment, such that at any given moment one can find it in the state either with positive or with negative dipole moment ...
