Measured distribution of electric field in GTEM-cell
2001 IEEE EMC International Symposium. Symposium Record. International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility (Cat. No.01CH37161), 2002The electric field inside the GTEM-cell [1] was measured with the field probe. The variation of the electric field was within 3 dB. The measured results were compared with the numerical model performed with Finite Element Method (FEM). There is a very good agreement between measured results and the computer model.

Electric Field Distributions in an Ionized Gas. II
Physical Review, 1960A method previously described is used to calculate the probability distribution of the low-frequency component of the electric field at a neutral point, the distribution of the low-frequency component at an ion, and that of the highfrequency component at an electron. The results are compared with those obtained by other authors. (auth)

Scalp Distribution of Electrical Fields Related to Blink Reflex
Journal of Clinical Neurophysiology, 1995In 20 subjects the supraorbital nerve was stimulated and R1 recorded from electrodes placed over the ipsilateral orbicularis oculi muscle and from locations Fz, F8, F7, Cz, C6, C5, Pz, T4, and T3 on the scalp. The latter were referred either to an extracranial electrode or to Fz.

Optimization of optical parameters and electric field distribution in multilayers
Applied Optics, 1984Multilayer coatings for high-power laser mirrors and lenses have been optimized by a particular constrained gradient method to reach together with a reduction of damage threshold (i.e., suppression of the peak electric field), good values of optical parameters (reflectance or transmittance).

Electric field distribution in an electroluminescent cell
Journal of Applied Spectroscopy, 1966The theory of linear parameter distribution is discussed in relation to calculation of the intensity for an electroluminescent cell (EC). It is found that some of the formulas are applicable to the practical ranges of EC because the spatial region where nonlinear processes occur in strong fields is of restricted extent.

Grouping the distributions of electric field amplitudes
2003 IEEE International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2003. EMC '03., 2003A heuristic data-analysis method is introduced and applied to group electric field amplitude distributions into distinct groups according to their shape. The amplitudes are determined inside rectangular enclosures consisting of apertures, when the enclosures are illuminated by an external electric field.

Electric-field distribution in composite media
Physical Review B, 1998Spatial fluctuations of the local electric field induced by a constant applied electric field in composite media are studied analytically and numerically. It is found that the density of states for the fields exhibit sharp peaks and abrupt changes in the slope at certain critical points which are analogous to van Hove singularities in the density of ...

On the distribution of electric fields in the magnetosphere
Journal of Geophysical Research, 1966The magnetic storm theories of Alfven, Axford and Hines, and Dungey imply that an electrostatic potential difference exists across the magnetosphere. The detailed distribution of the resulting electric fields is, as yet, unknown. The present study is an attempt to solve this problem, assuming that a plasma with continuous energy spectrum is injected ...

DISTRIBUTION OF ELECTRIC FIELDS ON THE SURFACE OF INCLUSIONS IN MATRIX COMPOSITE
Доклады Российской академии наук. Физика, технические науки, 2023Expressions are obtained for operators of concentration of electric field strength and displacement on the surface of inclusions in matrix composite depending on shape and volume fraction of inclusions in material. These operators relate the fields on the inclusion surface on the matrix side with the average values of the electric field strength and ...

Electric field distribution in brain tumors
2014 IEEE Conference on Electrical Insulation and Dielectric Phenomena (CEIDP), 2014About 37% of the brain tumors are malignant, causing brain cancers. Brain tumor stands as the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in children and adults. Current standard of cure includes surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Brain surgery is too complex and involves more risks in treatment.
