Simulations of High Non-Uniform Electric Field in Dielectric Barrier Electrode System

open access: yesWalailak Journal of Science and Technology, 2021
An electric field in the dielectric barrier electrode system is necessary for ozone production because ozone is produced by the electric discharge of O2 under a high-intensity electric field.

Electric Model for Electromagnetic Wave Fields [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
This paper presents the first theoretical framework that defines the electric infinitesimal structure model of electromagnetic waves. This model represents the electromagnetic fields by electric field components only. These components have a specific spatial arrangement that is responsible for exerting both the magnetic force and the electric force ...

Modeling the electric field of weakly electric fish [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Biology, 2006
SUMMARYWeakly electric fish characterize the environment in which they live by sensing distortions in their self-generated electric field. These distortions result in electric images forming across their skin. In order to better understand electric field generation and image formation in one particular species of electric fish, Apteronotus ...

Electrospinning of Polyacrylonitrile Nanofibers and Simulation of Electric Field via Finite Element method [PDF]

open access: yesNanomedicine Research Journal, 2017
Objective(s): Since the electric field is the main driving force in electrospinning systems, the modeling and analysis of electric field distribution are critical to the nanofibers production.

Finite element modeling for electric field and voltage distribution along the cap and pin insulators under pollution

open access: yesDiagnostyka, 2023
The knowledge of the behavior of both the electric potential and electric field is one of the main factors needed when designing an insulator. Using AutoCAD software a 2D cap and pin 1512L insulator model was created in the clean state and under ...

Modelling Electricity Futures by Ambit Fields [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in Applied Probability, 2014
In this paper we propose a new modelling framework for electricity futures markets based on so-called ambit fields. The new model can capture many of the stylised facts observed in electricity futures and is highly analytically tractable. We discuss martingale conditions, option pricing, and change of measure within the new model class.

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation in Psychiatry: Is There a Need for Electric Field Standardization?

open access: yesFrontiers in Human Neuroscience, 2021
Single-pulse and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) are used in clinical practice for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. However, rTMS-based therapies that lead to a significant and sustained reduction in neuropsychiatric symptoms ...
