Electrical injuries are common worldwide but poorly understood. Electricity is characterized by numerous parameters such as charge, current, voltage, power, resistance, resistivity, and energy. Electrical current must be itself divided into RMS current (for thermal injuries) and aggregate current (for stimulation and arrhythmia risk).
