Electric modulus and interfacial polarization in composite polymeric systems

Journal of Materials Science, 1998
The applicability of the electric modulus formalism is investigated on a Debye-type relaxation process, the interfacial polarization or Maxwell–Wagner–Sillars effect. Electric modulus, which has been proposed for the description of systems with ionic conductivity and related relaxation processes, presents advantages in comparison to the classical ...

Impedance and Electric Modulus Analysis of Cd0.6Zn0.4Te Thin Films

Crystal Research and Technology, 2002
Cd 0.6 Zn 0.4 Te thin films were deposited by single source vacuum evaporation technique. The impedance of polycrystalline Cd 0.6 Zn 0.4 Te thin films has been measured as a function of frequency. The experimental data were measured in the temperature range of 300 - 445K and have been analyzed in the complex plane formalism and suitable equivalent ...

ELECTRIC MODULUS AND DIELECTRIC STUDIES OF ALIZARIN DOPED ANTHRAQUINONE

International Journal of Modern Physics B, 2008
The electrical properties of alizarin doped anthraquinone were investigated using a complex impedance spectroscopy technique. Dielectric study revealed a phase transition from the semiconducting to the conducting state at 53°C. The dielectric relaxation was found to be of non-Debye type.

AC conductivity, electric modulus analysis and electrical conduction mechanism of RbFeP2O7 ceramic compound

Ceramics International, 2016
Abstract In this work, the diphosphate compound, RbFeP 2 O 7 , was prepared by the conventional solid-state reaction. The X-ray diffraction pattern revealed that the sample presents a single phase, that crystallizes in the monoclinic structure with a P2 1 /C space group.

Electrical characterizations of BaZr0.05Ti0.95O3 perovskite ceramic by impedance spectroscopy, electric modulus and conductivity

Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics, 2017
We, here in report on the impedance, modulus and conductivity analyses of polycrystalline perovskite structured BaZr0.05Ti0.95O3 ceramic prepared by the conventional solid state reaction technique (SSRT). The X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern of the specimen confirms the formation of phase pure perovskite structure.

Electrical conductivity and electrical modulus properties of α, ω-dihexylsexithiophene organic semiconductor

Physica B: Condensed Matter, 2007
Abstract Electrical conductivity and dielectrical properties of α, ω-dihexylsexithiophene organic compound have been investigated by impedance spectroscopy. Direct current conductivity results confirm that α, ω-dihexylsexithiophene is an organic semiconductor with the calculated electronic parameters.

Electrical conductivity and complex electric modulus of titanium doped nickel–zinc ferrites

Physica B: Condensed Matter, 2012
Abstract The samples Ni1+x−yZnyTix Fe2−2xO4; y=0.1, 0.0≤x≤0.5 were prepared in a single-phase spinel structure as indicated from X-ray analysis. Electrical conductivity and dielectric measurements at different temperatures from 300 K to 600 K in the frequency range from 42 Hz to 5 MHz have been analyzed.

XL.—The Variation of Young's Modulus under an Electric Current.

Proceedings of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, 1908
IN my first paper on this subject the behaviour of soft iron, steel, copper, and platinum was examined. In this paper the experiments have been carried a stage further, viz. the reaching of the cyclically steady state with a small load, the effect when the load is increased, and the heating by the ordinary method. As the behaviour of the wire when ...

Reconstruction of Permittivity from the Modulus of a Scattered Electric Field

Journal of Applied and Industrial Mathematics, 2018
Summary: We present a numerical algorithm for determining the inhomogeneities of permittivity from the strength modulus of a scattered electric field. The algorithm was tested on simulated noisy data and revealed its practical operability.
