Sliding of Charge Density Waves in a Static Electric Field
Physica Scripta, 1987Some aspects of the motion of charge density waves under a static electric field observed in a number of quasi one-dimensional conductors with an incommensurate superlattice are reviewed. Experiments aimed at the measurement of the CDW phase velocity are described.

Static Inductive Wireless Charging Station for Electric Vehicle
SAE Technical Paper Series, 2023<div class="section abstract"><div class="htmlview paragraph">Electric vehicles play a huge part in today’s transportation system and their increased use would rid us the downfalls of conventional vehicles. A part integral to this overhaul of EVs is the implementation of wireless charging station.

Static Charging Scheduling of Electric Vehicles at Private Stations
2019 IEEE 10th Annual Information Technology, Electronics and Mobile Communication Conference (IEMCON), 2019In this short paper, considering the significant increase on the number of electric vehicles (EV) and the additional load they bring on the power grid, we propose a static charging scheduling algorithm in order to effectively schedule the charging of EVs during nighttime at private charging stations.

Thermal Assessment of an ERS for Static Charging of Electric Vehicles
2019 IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference and Expo (ITEC), 2019A charging infrastructure of electric vehicles is important in order to make the transition from fossil fuels to electricity. There are multiple charging methods, one of which is to use an Electric Road System (ERS)as a static charger. The connection between an ERS and a vehicle is automatic and gives an advantage over other systems which require a ...

Integrated planning of static and dynamic charging infrastructure for electric vehicles
Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment, 2020Abstract This paper investigates the optimal deployment of static and dynamic charging infrastructure considering the interdependency between transportation and power networks. Static infrastructure means plug-in charging stations, while the dynamic counterpart refers to electrified roads or charging lanes enabled by charging-while-driving technology.

Trajectories of moving charges in static electric fields
Physics Education, 1986A common problem encountered during introductory courses on electricity and magnetism is that of the motion of charged particles in electric fields. Textbooks often describe the paths of moving charges in constant fields or in the field due to a single charge.

Loss behaviour of the film with surface charged with static electricity
[1991] Proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Properties and Applications of Dielectric Materials, 2002The mechanism of loss increase due to static electricity is studied through a series of loss measurements of charged film. It is shown that the surface electrostatic phenomenon is not only a surface phenomenon but also a bulk one. The surface charges enter into the bulk, associated with increasing ohmic conduction and thus increasing loss of material ...
