Mechanistic Insights into Sodium Niobate Surface Coating for Enhanced Cycling Performance of MnCuFe‐Based Layered Oxides for Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, Volume 9, Issue 2, February 2026.
Surface coating is an effective strategy to suppress interfacial side reactions and extend battery cycling life. Herein, a hydrogen peroxide‐activated wet chemistry method using sodium niobate as a coating agent is reported. The niobium coating exhibiting temperature‐dependent behavior and specific features at different calcination temperatures.
