Measurements of the Electrical Conductivity of Monolayer Graphene Flakes Using Conductive Atomic Force Microscopy

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2021
The intrinsic electrical conductivity of graphene is one of the key factors affecting the electrical conductance of its assemblies, such as papers, films, powders, and composites.

Residual polymer stabiliser causes anisotropic electrical conductivity during inkjet printing of metal nanoparticles

open access: yesCommunications Materials, 2021
Inkjet printed metal nanoparticles are known to have lower electrical conductivity than those produced by traditional approaches. Here, anisotropic electrical conductivity is attributed to organic residuals from the metal nanoparticle ink, reducing ...

Salmonella lipopolysaccharide‐containing supported lipid bilayers as platforms to study bacteriophage interactions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Electrical Conductivity of Thin Wires

open access: yesActive and Passive Electronic Components, 1986
An expression for the electrical conductivity of thin metal wires of a circular cross-section has been derived taking account of conduction-electron scattering at grain boundaries and the wire surface.

In vitro and in silico modelling of ROS1‐positive non‐small cell lung cancer reveals fusion‐dependent tyrosine kinase inhibitor responses

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

Self‐Regulated Learning Meets AI: Reinterpreting Self‐Regulation, Co‐Regulation, and Socially Shared Regulation in Human–AI Interaction

open access: yesNew Directions for Adult and Continuing Education, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Advancing artificial intelligence (AI) has transformed learning and work, yet higher education and professional development programs have not systematically equipped learners for AI‐prevalent environments. This lack of preparation creates uncertainty regarding control, responsibility, trust, and accountability.

EFFECT OF NUTRIENT SOLUTION CONCENTRATION ON THE GROWTH PERFORMANCE OF PAKCOY MUSTARD (Brassica rapa L.) UNDER A SENSOR-BASED NUTRIENT FILM TECHNIQUE HYDROPONIC SYSTEM

open access: yesJurnal Agrotek Tropika
The growth of pakcoy mustard (Brassica rapa L.) is strongly influenced by the concentration and composition of hydroponic nutrient solutions. This study aims to determine the optimal nutrient solution concentration for maximized pakcoy mustard growth at
