Active Learning‐Accelerated Discovery of Fibrous Hydrogels with Tissue‐Mimetic Viscoelasticity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Active learning accelerates the design of fibrous hydrogels that mimic the viscoelasticity of native tissues. By integrating multi‐objective optimization and closed‐loop experimentation, this approach efficiently identifies optimal formulations from thousands of possibilities and decouples elasticity and viscosity. The resulting hydrogels offer tunable

Influence of Electric Discharges on Bearings of Electric Machina

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2006
Bearing currents are one of cause’s bearings faults. The character of a lubricator belongs to main factor influencing an inception of bearing currents. We have analyzed the electric character variety kind of lubricators; the influence of lubricators on a bearing current was analyzed too.

Study on Electrical-Discharge Machining

open access: yesJournal of the Japan Society of Precision Engineering, 1960
In electrical discharge machining based on condenser discharge system, the writer tried to pursue the relation of single strike condenser discharge between continual discharge (nearly practical machining condition) by means of micro-photographical observation on the surface crater. As a result, in continual discharge, the writer found out that there ...

Small Extracellular Vesicles from Neural Cells: Physiological and Pathological Roles, and Potential in Neurodegenerative Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Neural cell–derived small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) are emerging as pivotal mediators in neurodegenerative diseases, exerting both pathogenic and therapeutic functions. This review synthesizes current evidence on how sEVs from distinct neural cell types regulate neurodegeneration, neuroprotection, biomarker discovery, and targeted drug delivery ...

Electrical-discharge Machining of Glass

open access: yesJournal of the Japan Society of Precision Engineering, 1960
Small holes of about 1mm diameter are easy to be drilled on a glass plate by electricaldischarge machining, but large holes or holes of intricate forms are difficult to. For the purpose of drilling these holes, the author has devised a method of cutting a glass plate by an electrode of Nickel wire and made fundamental experiments with it.In this report,

A Physiological Microfluidic Blood–Brain‐Barrier Model for In Vitro Study of Nanoparticle Trafficking and Accumulation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A human microfluidic blood‐brain barrier (mBBB) model enables spatially resolved comparison of nanoparticle trafficking. Extracellular vesicles (EVs), liposomes, and nanoplastics exhibit distinct transport and disruption behaviors, revealing that membrane composition and uptake pathways govern BBB interaction.
