Electro-optomechanical equivalent circuits for quantum transduction
Using the techniques of optomechanics, a high-$Q$ mechanical oscillator may serve as a link between electromagnetic modes of vastly different frequencies. This approach has successfully been exploited for the frequency conversion of classical signals and

Laser Metal Deposited Ti4822 Hollow Pipe: Experimental and Computational Modelling Study
Laser metal deposition (LMD) of a crack‐free built Ti4822 alloys is challenging. This article reports outstanding characteristics of a hollow pipe that is built with LMD technology when a predicted, nontransformation substrate temperature of 800 °C is used.

Development of a light-weight low cost self potential unit [PDF]
A lightweight, low cost self-potential unit has been developed using solid state components. The parts for the basic unit including batteries, copper sulfate pots, and hookup wire costs approximately $70.00.

The effect of temperature controllers that are commonly used in freeze‐casting is investigated in this work. Temperature controllers are observed to generate a voltage in the slurry. Microstructural alignment and ultimate compressive strength data show this voltage to interfere with the ability to align the microstructure using magnetic fields ...
