Measurement of Electrical Parameters Using Mixed-Signal Test Bus, IEEE Std. 1149.4

open access: yes, 2005
Test Access Port and Boundary-Scan Architecture, IEEE Std. 1149.1, was developed to ease the test of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). The development of packaging technology and the increasing functionality of a circuit have made traditional ...

Tailored Hierarchical Porous Copper Architectures via Three Dimensional Printing and Pressure‐less Sintering for Next‐Generation Lithium‐Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A hierarchical porous copper current collector is fabricated via three‐dimensional printing combined with pressureless sintering to stabilize lithium metal anodes. The interconnected architecture lowers local current density, guides uniform Li deposition within pores, and suppresses dendrite growth.

Electrical Integrity Tests during Production of the LHC Dipoles

open access: yes, 2006
For the LHC dipoles, mandatory electrical integrity tests are performed to qualify the cold mass (CM) at four production stages: individual pole, collared coil, CM before end cover welding and final CM.

Thermomechanical Fatigue and Creep–Fatigue Interaction of Inconel 718 Additively Manufactured by Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Thermomechanical fatigue tests of laser beam powder bed fusion (PBF‐LB) Inconel 718 show that the additively manufactured material reaches almost the lifetimes of conventionally‐rolled material under no‐dwell conditions. Introducing dwell times at the maximum temperature markedly reduces the lifetimes due to pronounced grain boundary sliding associated

Cochlear Implantation in a Patient with Implanted Trigeminus Stimulator—Clinical Considerations for Using Two Different Electrical Stimulators in the Same Patient and Our Results

open access: yesJournal of Otorhinolaryngology, Hearing and Balance Medicine
Implantation of two electrical stimulators of different cranial nerves in one patient is rare. We report the case of a forty-seven-year-old patient already implanted with a trigeminus nerve stimulator.

New Insights on the Impact of Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) Additives on Corrosion of Copper

open access: yesInternational Journal of Automotive Engineering, 2016
A new method for monitoring the corrosion of copper by automatic transmission fluid additives through the measurement of the electrical resistance of copper wires is presented. The effect of driveline lubricant additive components upon the corrosion rate

Near‐Field Electrospinning Micro‐Printhead Achieves Precise Control of Nanofiber Deposition

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A micro‐printhead for near‐field electrospinning enables reproducible deposition of polymer nanofibers with diameters below 50 nm. Systematic parameter studies uncover the mechanisms linking operating conditions to fiber morphology, paving the way for precise and low‐cost nanoscale 3D manufacturing. As a high‐resolution, cost‐effective, and rapid ...
