The Kernel Method for Electrical Resistance Tomography
This paper treats the inverse problem of retrieving the electrical conductivity of a material starting from boundary measurements in the framework of Electrical Resistance Tomography (ERT). In particular, the focus is on non-iterative reconstruction methods suitable for real-time applications.

Measuring the Taylor Bubble Length in a Two-Phase Flow using an Electrical Resistance Sensor and a High-Speed Camera [PDF]
The present research aims to investigate the two-phase air/water flow in a vertical pipe using an electrical resistance sensor and a high-speed camera. An electrical resistance sensor is designed and embedded in the inner wall of the tube. A flow pattern

Transdimensional Electrical Resistivity Tomography [PDF]
AbstractThis paper shows that imaging the interior of solid bodies with fully nonlinear physics can be highly beneficial compared to imaging with the equivalent linearized tomographic methods and that this is true for a variety of different types of physics. Including full nonlinearity provides interpretable uncertainties and far greater depth of image

Iterative geostatistical electrical resistivity tomography inversion
AbstractElectrical resistivity tomography (ERT) is a geophysical method used to create an image of the subsurface due to its sensitivity to porosity, water saturation, and pore fluid salinity. This geophysical method has been widely applied in the investigation of mineral and groundwater resources, as well as in archaeological, environmental, and ...
