The electrical resistivity of cytoplasm
The apparent cytoplasmic resistivity of two different giant cells has been measured using an extension of a previously developed single microelectrode technique. Each cell is penetrated by a metal microelectrode whose complex impedance is measured as a function of frequency between 500 kHz and 5.7 MHz.

The Electrical Resistance of Alloys [PDF]
IN reference to Lord Rayleigh's very interesting note in your issue of June 18, we have, for several months, had preliminary experiments in progress, with the object of educing practical proof of the effects of thermo-electric currents upon the conductivity of alloys; but, owing to the stress of routine work in our respective departments, the research ...

Electrical resistance tomography [PDF]
Electrical resistance tomography (ERT) is a method that calculates the subsurface distribution of electrical resistivity from a large number of resistance measurements made from electrodes. For in-situ applications, ERT uses electrodes on the ground surface or in boreholes. It is a relatively new imaging tool in geophysics.
