Correlation of Thermal Conductivity and Electrical Resistivity of Carbonates
Proceedings, 2012Thermal properties are of interest for geothermal studies. A problem is to obtain thermal conductivity from in-situ conditions. One way to solve this problem is the application of relationships to other geophysical rock properties especially for carbonates.

Electrical resistivity of conducting particles in an insulating matrix
Journal of Applied Physics, 1972When conducting particles are added to a nonconducting matrix, conductivity increases abruptly at a critical concentration. The theory of infinite chains is used to predict the variation of conductivity with particle concentration. Factors which determine the critical concentration are discussed.

Resistivity behavior of filled electrically conductive crosslinked polyethylene
Journal of Applied Polymer Science, 1984AbstractThe electrical resistivity of crosslinked high‐density polyethylene loaded with conductive blacks and carbon fibers was studied as a function of filler concentration and temperature. A thermoelectric switching phenomenon (a sudden resistivity increase in the vicinity of the polyethylene melting point) in such semicrystalline conductive systems ...

On the calculation of the electrical resistivity of conducting loose materials
Russian Metallurgy (Metally), 2011A mathematical model has been built analytically to describe the dependence of the volume electrical resistivity of a loose material on its height and the external pressure. The electrical conductivity of the loose material is shown to be invariant with respect to the sizes of its fractions.

Evaluation of contact resistance for isotropic electrically conductive adhesives
IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging, and Manufacturing Technology: Part B, 1995Electrically conductive adhesives are discussed and studied with ever-increasing interest as an alternative to solder interconnection in microelectronics circuit packaging. A similar level of scrutiny that is used to evaluate contact resistance performance for interconnections made with solder and separable connectors is necessary for electrically ...

Study of processing variables on the electrical resistivity of conductive adhesives
International Journal of Adhesion and Adhesives, 2009Abstract In this paper, the authors explored the effects of processing variables, including carbon nanotube (CNT) concentration, assembly pressure, and processing temperature, on electrical conductivity of CNT-included electrically conductive adhesives (ECAs).

A Pore Resistance Model and the Effect of Electrical Conductivity on Electroporation
ASME 2009 Summer Bioengineering Conference, Parts A and B, 2009Electroporation is an elegant means to gain access to the cytoplasm, and to deliver molecules into the cell while simultaneously maintaining viability and functionality. In this technique, electric pulses are applied to transiently permeabilize the cell membrane.

Electrical Resistivity of a Composite of Conducting Particles in an Insulating Matrix
Journal of Applied Physics, 1972A model rationalizing the curve of resistivity vs volume percent of a metal-powder component in a metal/polymer composite is considered. It shows the conductivity to be directly dependent on the surface area of the conducting particles and also shows a 2/3 power dependence on their volume. Comparison with experimental results shows a good fit.
