In Situ Observations of Ionospheric Perturbations Triggered by the Launches of 2022 and 2023 South Korea Rockets

open access: yesSpace Weather, Volume 23, Issue 9, September 2025.
Abstract We investigated in situ ionospheric plasma density perturbations triggered by the South Korea KSLV‐2 rocket launches on 21 June 2022, and 25 May 2023, by combining ground‐based GNSS total electron content (TEC) observations with in situ measurements from the FORMOSAT‐7/COSMIC‐2 Ion Velocity Meter (IVM).

The Benefit of Space Clocks for the Deep Space Network

open access: yesRadio Science, Volume 60, Issue 8, August 2025.
Abstract Ground‐based atomic clocks have been the foundation of the Deep Space Network's (DSN's) ability to provide high‐precision tracking to deep space users for navigation and radio science since its inception in the mid‐1960s. This paper describes the development of space clocks that could aid the DSN and the solar system exploration enterprise ...

Performance analysis of an electrically assisted propulsion system for a short-range civil aircraft

open access: yes, 2019
With civil aviation growing at around 4.7% per annum, the environmental footprint of aviation is increasing. Moreover, the use of kerosene as a fuel accelerates the depletion of non-renewable fossil fuels and increases global warming. Hence, the aviation
