Consumption patterns for electricity
Journal of Econometrics, 1977Abstract A substantial body of literature in economics has focused on appropriate pricing under conditions in which demand varies through time and the product supplied cannot be stored. However, only limited attention has been paid to modeling or estimating consumer demand under these conditions.

DCS Internal Electrical Consumption
1986The operation of the DCS requires an amount of electrical energy which should be deducted from the plant electrical production. The energy delivered to the local grid represents the net plant electrical production.

Interactive Electricity Consumption System
2019Energy resources like fuel, water, and electricity form the fundamental requirements for the entire society to operate. It is observed that electricity is the driving force behind any society operations. As the energy requirements exponentially increase, there is a growing need for reliable and transparent power flow to the customers from the ...

U.S. commercial electricity consumption [PDF]
Commercial electricity usage exceeds that of industrial usage and is almost as large as residential electricity consumption in the United States. In this study, regional economic, demographic, and climatic data are used to analyze commercial electricity demand in the United States.

Electricity consumption, electricity intensity and industrial structure
Energy Economics, 1983Abstract This paper describes an analysis of recent trends in industrial output and electricity consumption carried out at the Electricity Council. The analysis examines the significance of changes in industrial structure and in the intensity of electricity use within major industries using a simple arithmetical procedure.

Identifying fridge consumption in supervised global electric consumption
2018 IEEE International Energy Conference (ENERGYCON), 2018In a domestic context, NILM applications (Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring) are of big interest. Indeed, it allows users to know their electric consumption without having to install lots of sensors in theirs houses. The freezer and fridge consumption represents approximately 10 to 15 % of global domestic electric consumption in Belgium.

Estimation Of Electricity Consumption
2020The article deals with simple estimation of electricity consumption. There are three different methods of estimations mentioned in the article, they differ among each other by the amount of required inputs, availability of these inputs and accuracy of resultant estimations. The first two methods are based on the amount of consumption per capita.

Electricity consumption and transport
2011As shown in the previous chapters, networking electricity consumption and generation via a large-scale high-capacity 'supergrid' would have a positive impact on the use of weather-dependent generation units and all grid storage components. Such a supergrid would also allow for the achievement of beneficial electricity consumption equalisation effects.
