Engineering Strategies for 2D Layered Tin Halide Perovskite Field‐Effect Transistors
2D halide perovskites are promising candidates for field‐effect transistor (FET) applications due to their high stability and suppressed ion migration in the presence of bulky organic spacers. This review systematically summarizes the optimization engineering strategies of 2D perovskite FETs and future challenges, which provide guidance for developing ...

Risk Management for Wind Power Trading Based on Expected Utility-Entropy
In a gradually deregulated electricity market, a power producer can minimum risk by reasonably allocating trading electricity in different markets such as the contract market and spot market.

Optimal combinatorial electricity markets [PDF]
The deregulation of the electricity industry in many countries has created a number of marketplaces in which producers and consumers can operate in order to more effectively manage and meet their energy needs. To this end, this paper develops a new model for electricity retail where end-use customers choose their supplier from competing electricity ...

High Thermoelectric Performance in Low‐Cost Cu8SiSxSe6‐x Argyrodite
This study discovers the great potential of Cu8SiSxSe6‐x argyrodites as new, low‐cost, Te‐free thermoelectric materials. The proposed defect scheme suppresses the phase transition, enhances the weighted mobility and optimizes the grain boundary contacts.

Capacity Markets for Electricity [PDF]
The creation of electricity markets has raised the fundamental question as to whether markets provide the right incentives for the provision of the reserves needed to maintain system reliability, or whether some form of regulation is needed. In some states in the US, electricity retailers have been made responsible for providing such reserves by ...

On the efficiency of local electricity markets [PDF]
We formulate two coordination mechanisms between local and centralized electricity markets. The first one is a centralized mechanism ruled by the national market operator and formulated as a standard constrained optimization problem. The second one is a decentralized mechanism, governed by local market operators that interact with a central market ...

Diels‐Alder clicks chemistry addresses thermal runaway in lithium‐ion batteries. A thermoresponsive electrolyte with lithium salt in vinylene carbonate (VC) and 2,5‐dimethylfuran (DMFu) operates at room temperature but undergoes Diels‐Alder reactions at high temperatures, enabling a two‐step safety mechanism: a warning phase at ≈100 °C and complete ...

Peer to peer electricity markets
Driven by the energy transition and the development of distributed energy resources, peer-to-peer markets are the focus of much research. Because of their decentralised structure, they allow scaling up by multiplying the number of agents in a market.

This work addresses the challenge of current–voltage asymmetry in scalable laminated semitransparent organic photovoltaics (OPVs) for indoor applications. Vertical stratification of materials is shown to create an energy barrier, leading to performance differences under different illumination directions.
