Ultrasoft Iontronics: Stretchable Diodes Enabled by Ionically Conductive Bottlebrush Elastomers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces a solvent‐free, ultrasoft, and stretchable ionic diode based on oppositely charged bottlebrush elastomers (BBEs). The BBE diode exhibits an ultralow Young's modulus (<23 kPa), a high rectification ratio of 46, and stretchability over 400%.

Markets for Electricity in Europe

open access: yesOxford Review of Economic Policy, 2001
Competition in the electricity industry requires properly functioning wholesale markets. This paper discusses the better-established electricity markets of Europe, in the Nordic countries, England and Wales, and Spain. The different market designs can all produce efficient outcomes, if not hindered by market power.
