Identification and control of a motorcycle electro-hydraulic clutch

open access: yes2012 IEEE International Conference on Control Applications, 2012
This paper addresses the identification and control of a motorcycle electro-hydraulic clutch, to be employed as main actuator for the design of future automatic gear shift controllers and launch controllers. These applications have very different requirements in terms of tracking performance, and designing an effective controller for both working ...

Nonlinear optimal control of electro-hydraulic actuators

IFAC Journal of Systems and Control, 2021
Abstract A nonlinear optimal (H-infinity) control approach is proposed for electro-hydraulic actuators. Control of electrohydraulic actuators is a non-trivial problem because of the nonlinearities and underactuation in their dynamics. The article’s approach relies first on approximate linearization of the state–space model of the electrohydraulic ...

Fuzzy Feedback Control for Electro-Hydraulic Actuators

Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing, 2023

Research on Control Strategy of Electro-Hydraulic Lifting System Based on AMESim and MATLAB

open access: yesSymmetry, 2023
Given the influence of flow instability, parameter uncertainty, and unpredictable disturbances in electro-hydraulic lifting systems, high-precision position control for electro-hydraulic lifting systems is challenging to achieve.

Velocity control of an electro hydraulic servosystem

2007 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man and Cybernetics, 2007
This study addresses new hybrid approaches for velocity control of an electro hydraulic servosystem (EHSS) in presence of flow nonlinearities and internal friction. In our new approaches, we combined classical method based-on sliding mode control and fuzzy RBF networks. The control by using adaptive networks need plant's Jacobean, but here this problem

Projective control of electro-hydraulic servo system

Proceedings of the 2001 American Control Conference. (Cat. No.01CH37148), 2001
A nonlinear dynamic model for an electro-hydraulic servo system is developed. The model's response is compared with that of an actual valve. A projective control algorithm is used to control the motion of a load. Robustness of the control algorithm is analyzed through simulations.

Electro-hydraulic valve control with multiair technology

MTZ worldwide, 2009
Over the last decade, the development of new common rail technology for diesel engines marked a breakthrough in the passenger car market. In order to secure the future of petrol engines, Fiat Group decided to follow the same approach. The company is now launching an electro-hydraulic valve control system called „MultiAir“ into series production.

Intelligent PID control of an industrial electro-hydraulic system

ISA Transactions, 2023
In this study, an intelligent PID (i-PID) controller is designed for position control of a nonlinear electro-hydraulic system with uncertain valve characteristics and supply pressure variations. The proposed controller uses estimation of ultra-local model of the system.

An optimal controller for an electro-hydraulic system

2016 16th International Conference on Control, Automation and Systems (ICCAS), 2016
In this paper, an advanced controller is presented for position tracking control and minimizing control energy of an electro-hydraulic system. An index function is first formulated for the closed-loop performance. The optimal control input is then calculated based on the Taylor series expansion of the index function.
