Analysis for the power loss of electro hydrostatic actuator and hydraulic actuator

2015 IEEE International Conference on Advanced Intelligent Mechatronics (AIM), 2015
This article describes the difference between traditional airborne hydraulic actuator and electro hydrostatic actuator in heat dissipation. The power loss of the two systems are analyzed based on the method of energy transfer under different working conditions.

Study on nonlinear PID control for electro-hydrostatic actuator

Proceedings of 2014 IEEE Chinese Guidance, Navigation and Control Conference, 2014
The structure and working principle of Electro-hydrostatic Actuator was analyzed in this paper. And a mathematical model based on the transfer function was given. The paper analyzed the influence of the electric motor and hydraulic section on the EHA system performance. A nonlinear block diagram model based on the Simulink was established in this paper.

Feedback linearization PID control for electro-hydrostatic actuator

2011 2nd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Management Science and Electronic Commerce (AIMSEC), 2011
To solve the problem induced by serious nonlinear characteristic of the electro-hydrostatic actuator (EHA), and realize exact control of EHA, the mathematical model of EHA was derived, an exact linearization control law was obtained via nonlinear coordinate transformation and state feedback.

Theoretical and experimental investigations of a magnetostrictive electro-hydrostatic actuator*

Smart Materials and Structures, 2018
Abstract In this study, the time-domain model of a magnetostrictive electro-hydrostatic actuator (MEHA) is built from the viewpoint of energy conversion, which consists of four energy transformation stages: electrical–magnetic, magneto-elastic, elastic-hydraulic and hydraulic-mechanical energy transformation.

Multi-discipline simulation of electro-hydrostatic Actuator with Modelica

CSAA/IET International Conference on Aircraft Utility Systems (AUS 2018), 2018
The electro-hydrostatic actuator (EHA) is replacing the traditional hydraulic actuator to become an important part of the aircraft hydraulic system, because of its power by wire, easy maintenance and high reliability. But the application of EHA is limited by its disadvantage of heat dissipation. Therefore, it is necessary to establish the thermodynamic
