Abstact figure legend A panoramic 3D optical mapping system was developed, enabling imaging of action potential waves across the entire strongly deforming ventricular surface of beating isolated hearts. The system comprises 12 high‐speed cameras and a soccerball‐shaped imaging chamber with 48 light‐emitting diodes (LEDs).

Mapping of ventricular tachycardia in patients with structural heart disease
Catheter ablation is now recognized as one of the potent options to reduce the number of implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) shock therapies by modifying arrhythmic substrate in patients affected by ventricular tachycardia (VT).

We report a case of MEPPC syndrome presenting with severe dilated cardiomyopathy due to a pathogenic SCN5A p.Arg814Trp variant. Genetic diagnosis enabled precision pharmacotherapy with hydroquinidine, which suppressed multifocal Purkinje‐origin ectopy resistant to catheter ablation and led to marked improvement in left ventricular function.

Feasibility study of electrocardiographic and respiratory gated, gadolinium enhanced magnetic resonance angiography of pulmonary veins and the impact of heart rate and rhythm on study quality [PDF]
Background: We aimed to assess the feasibility of 3 dimensional (3D) respiratory and ECG gated, gadolinium enhanced magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) on a 3 Tesla (3 T) scanner for imaging pulmonary veins (PV) and left atrium (LA). The impact of heart

Efficacy and safety of a fixed low‐power, long‐duration radiofrequency catheter ablation of ventricular arrhythmias originating from the left ventricular summit. ABSTRACT Background Radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) of ventricular arrhythmias originating from the left ventricular summit (LVS‐VAs) remains challenging.

Rapid automatic segmentation of abnormal tissue in late gadolinium enhancement cardiovascular magnetic resonance images for improved management of long-standing persistent atrial fibrillation [PDF]
Background: Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common heart rhythm disorder. In order for late Gd enhancement cardiovascular magnetic resonance (LGE CMR) to ameliorate the AF management, the ready availability of the accurate enhancement segmentation ...

This study reports a 25.2% incidence of acute pericardial effusion following vein of Marshall ethanol infusion for persistent atrial fibrillation. The extent of the resulting low‐voltage area was identified as an independent predictor of pericardial effusion, reflecting the magnitude of chemical injury.

Introduction: The radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) of ventricular arrhythmias (VAs) originating from the right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) is a well-established therapy. Traditionally, RFCA is guided using electroanatomical 3D mapping systems

Integrated whole-heart computational workflow for inverse potential mapping and personalized simulations [PDF]
Background: Integration of whole-heart activation simulations and inverse potential mapping (IPM) could benefit the guidance and planning of electrophysiological procedures. Routine clinical application requires a fast and adaptable workflow.

High‐power superior vena cava isolation using a contact force– and local impedance–sensing catheter achieved safe and consistent first‐pass isolation. Local impedance decreased more rapidly than generator impedance, accurately reflecting effective lesion formation and enabling reliable real‐time assessment in thin SVC myocardium.
