Stimulus‐independent DF mapping integrates intracardiac signals with 3D anatomy to visualize high‐DF activity, with regions derived from SmartTouch and Pentaray catheters showing spatial correspondence with operator‐defined ablation sites. Quantitative analysis demonstrates higher proximity scores at ablation sites, low projection error, and good ...

Principles of electroanatomic mapping.
Electrophysiologic testing and radiofrequency ablation have evolved as curative measures for a variety of rhythm disturbances. As experience in this field has grown, ablation is progressively being used to address more complex rhythm disturbances.

In persistent AF, adjunctive dominant frequency‐guided ablation after pulmonary vein isolation did not significantly improve outcomes. Limited overlap between high‐frequency sites and low‐voltage areas suggests functional–structural dissociation, while right atrial low‐voltage burden predicts recurrence.

Background The pathophysiological mechanism of focal atrial tachycardias (AT) remains obscure. Methods Fifteen patients (6 males, age 45 ± 18) with focal AT underwent high‐density activation mapping using a new software called extended early‐meets‐late ...

Techniques for Identification of Left Ventricular Asynchrony for Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy in Heart Failure [PDF]
The most recent treatment option of medically refractory heart failure includes cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) by biventricular pacing in selected patients in NYHA functional class III or IV heart failure. The widely used marker to indicate left

Modified Anatomical Ablation Strategy for Mitral Isthmus
ABSTRACT Background Durable mitral isthmus (MI) block remains challenging in persistent atrial fibrillation (AF) ablation. Ethanol infusion into the vein of Marshall (EI‐VOM) enhances efficacy, but the minimal endocardial ablation extent post‐EI‐VOM is undefined.

Ventricular tachycardia in ischemic cardiomyopathy; a combined endo-epicardial ablation as the first procedure versus a stepwise approach (EPILOGUE) - study protocol for a randomized controlled trial [PDF]
Background: The role of epicardial substrate ablation of ventricular tachycardia (VT) as a first-line approach in patients with ischemic heart disease is not clearly defined.

Long‐Term Outcomes of Radiofrequency Atrioventricular Node Ablation in a Real‐World Population
Abstract Background While interventional strategies have expanded the options for long term rhythm restoration, rate control continues to play a pivotal role in the treatment of atrial arrhythmias; however, pharmacologic strategies alone often fail in achieving effective rate control.

Background and aimsAn insufficient number of premature ventricular complexes (PVCs) during catheter ablation (CA) may prohibit adequate mapping of the site of origin. Parameters to predict this situation have not been established.

Recurring patterns of atrial fibrillation in surface ECG predict restoration of sinus rhythm by catheter ablation [PDF]
Background Non-invasive tools to help identify patients likely to benefit from catheter ablation (CA) of atrial fibrillation (AF) would facilitate personalised treatment planning.
