Expired bismuth‐drugs are innovatively purposed as efficient precatalysts, which enables the electro‐upcycling of CO2 into formate, followed by tandem conversion to benzimidazole, providing a critical proof‐of‐concept for sustainable waste‐to‐value conversion.
