A NiO-Rh2P heterostructure electrocatalyst was constructed by phosphating the NiO-Rh structure. Due to the high capability of water dissociation by NiO, only 46 mV overpotential was demanded to achieve 10 mA cm−2 for the NiO-Rh2P, which is 73 mV lower ...

This work presents manipulation of adjacent carbon site in single‐atom indium catalysts via editing In‐N4 motif to In‐N2O2 for reaction pathway switching. Incorporation of O atoms leads to significant electron enrichment on the adjacent carbon sites surrounding the In‐N2O2 motif, which facilitates *COOH adsorption and CO formation with high selectivity.

Platinum nanoparticles/functionalized carbon nanoparticles composites supported on the carbon-ceramic electrode and their electroactivity for ethanol oxidation [PDF]
The electrocatalytic oxidation of ethanol was studied for the platinum nanoparticles/ functionalized carbon nanoparticles composites supported at the carbon-ceramic electrode (PtNPs/tosyl-CNPs/CCE) as an electrocatalyst in acidic medium.

The intrinsic distortion‐rich lattice of HEPBA with GQD‐enabled microstrain engineering establishes a mechanistic route toward high‐performance alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction. HEPBA inherently feature heterogeneous local coordination environments arising from multimetal incorporation, while properly introducing GQD during coprecipitation ...

Metal‐free carbon catalysts enable the sustainable synthesis of hydrogen peroxide via two‐electron oxygen reduction; however, active site complexity continues to hinder reliable interpretation. This review critiques correlation‐based approaches and highlights the importance of orthogonal experimental designs, standardized catalyst passports ...

Preparation of PtSn/C-Rh and PtSn/C-CeO2 for Ethanol Electro-Oxidation
PtSn/CeO2–C electrocatalyst and PtSn/Rh-C were prepared in a two step. In the first step a Carbon Vulcan XC72 + 15%CeO2 and Vulcan XC72 + 15%Rh supports were prepared using a modified polymeric precursor method under controlled synthesis conditions.

POM‐Based Water Splitting Catalyst Under Acid Conditions Driven by Its Assembly on Carbon Nanotubes
A newly‐engineered POM‐based electrocatalyst incorporating non‐innocent counter cations exhibits fast kinetics for either the OER or HER under strongly acidic conditions (1 m H2SO4), depending on whether it is assembled on carbon nanotubes (1@CNT) or physically mixed with them (1/CNT). In water‐splitting tests using a two‐electrode setup, these systems
