Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

ELECTROCHEMICAL DETECTION OF GLUTATHIONE: AN ELECTROCHEMICALLY INITIATED REACTION PATHWAY

open access: yesAnalytical Letters, 2002
ABSTRACT The electrochemically initiated reaction of glutathione with catechol in aqueous phosphate buffer has been examined as a facile route to the selective electrochemical determination of the former in the presence of other potential interferents (including cysteine, homocysteine).

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

Electrochemical Circuit Elements

open access: yesActa Chimica Slovenica, 2016
The vast majority of electrochemical processes can be modelled by resistors and capacitors. These will then be, in addition to usual circuit elements, electrochemical and chemical resistors or chemical capacitors. The paper shows the significance of understanding these parameters and their connections in given systems for a variety of timely scientific

Electrochemical detection of aniline: an electrochemically initiated reaction pathway

open access: yesTalanta, 2002
The electrochemically initiated reaction of aromatic amines with catechol has been examined as a facile route to the electrochemical determination of the former. The effects of the different structural isomers of sulfanilic acid on the analytical system has been studied and appraised.
