Reevaluating the Activity of ZIF‐8 Based FeNCs for Electrochemical Ammonia Production
Though receiving much attention, the field of electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction (eNRR) to ammonia is marked by doubts about whether this reaction is possible in aqueous media. This work sheds light on this question for iron single‐atom on N‐doped carbon (FeNC) catalysts—a class of well‐known catalysts that is also worth testing for the sister

An electrochemical study of hydrogen uptake and elimination by bare and gold-plated waspaloy [PDF]
Two electrochemical methods for the determination of hydrogen concentrations in metals are discussed and evaluated. The take-up of hydrogen at a pressure of 5000 psi by Waspaloy metal was determined experimentally at 24 C.

Bio‐Friendly Artificial Muscles Based on Carbon Nanotube Yarns and Eutectogel Derivatives
Solid‐state artificial muscles based on coiled commercial carbon nanotube yarns coated with eutectogel derivatives exhibit unipolar actuation through selective ion intercalation. Combining polyanionic and polycationic gels enables enhanced contractile stroke and high energy density.

GeAl2‐2xFe2xO3(OH)4 Nanotubes: New Electrocatalyst for Oxygen Evolution Reaction
Fe‐doped imogolite nanotubes are synthesized via a one‐step hydrothermal method with varying Fe substitution ratios x. Structural and spectroscopic analyses confirm homogeneous Fe incorporation while preserving tubular shape. Optimal doping at x = 0.05 enhances optical absorption, narrows band gap, reduces charge transfer resistance, and significantly ...
