The charge transport process at poly(orthoaminophenol) film electrodes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Poly(o-aminophenol) (POAP) films were deactivated and then reactivated, and dependences of the different charge-transport and charge-transfer parameters on the degree of deactivation (θc ) were obtained by employing Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy.

Rapid Sintering of Porous Organic Polymer Powders Into Mechanically Strong Monoliths for Efficient CO2 Capture

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Spark plasma sintering enables rapid processing of porous organic polymer (POP) from fine powders to a freestanding and mechanically robust monolith. The sintering process retains the CO2 adsorption capacity and CO2/N2 selectivity, making the monolith more suitable as a solid sorbent for practical carbon capture applications.

A Smart Bio‐Battery Facilitates Diabetic Bone Defect Repair Via Inducing Macrophage Reprogramming and Synergistically Modulating Bone Remodeling Coupling

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This research presents a novel implantable bio‐battery, GF‐OsG, tailored for diabetic bone repair. GF‐OsG generates microcurrents in high‐glucose conditions to enhance vascularization, shift macrophages to the M2 phenotype, and regulate immune responses.

Negative capacitance or inductive loop? – A general assessment of a common low frequency impedance feature

open access: yesElectrochemistry Communications, 2019
Impedance analysis is not an easy task. This becomes even more obvious if unusual shapes appear in the impedance diagram. Here, a low frequency hook with positive imaginary part is discussed that often leaves researchers clueless of how to handle it ...

Intermediate temperature SOFC single cell test using Nd1.95NiO4+δ as cathode [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
This work deals with SOFC single cell tests using neodymium nickelate Nd1.95NiO4+δ as cathode material. This MIEC oxide exhibits high values of both surface exchange coefficient (k) and oxygen diffusion coefficient (D*), as well as high electronic ...

Ultrahigh‐Yield, Multifunctional, and High‐Performance Organic Memory for Seamless In‐Sensor Computing Operation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Molecular engineering of a nonconjugated radical polymer enables a significant enhancement of the glass transition temperature. The amorphous nature and tunability of the polymer, arising from its nonconjugated backbone, facilitates the fabrication of organic memristive devices with an exceptionally high yield (>95%), as well as substantial ...

Impedance of a flow-through measuring electrochemical cell with a system of planar interdigitated microelectrodes

open access: yesОмский научный вестник
The article considers a flow-through electrochemical cell with planar interdigitated microelectrodes intended for impedance studies of liquids. To assess the influence of the cell height and geometric parameters of the interdigitated microelectrodes on ...

Application of the impedance model of de Levie for the characterization of porous electrodes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
From the de Levie's theory for a porous electrode, the impedance can be expressed in function of the cylindrical pore characteristics: the pore length, the pore radius and the number of pores.
