Impedance of electrochemically modified graphite. [PDF]

open access: yesActa chimica Slovenica, 2014
Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, EIS, has been applied for characterization of electrochemically modified graphite electrodes in the sulphuric acid solution. Graphite modifications were performed by potential cyclization between potentials of graphite oxide formation/reduction, different number of cycles, and prolonged reduction steps after ...

Sythesis of High Voltage Supercapacitor and Electrochemical Performance

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2013
The work unit for 100 V voltage of the hybrid supercapacitor is synthesized by using Ta/Ta2O5 as the anode, activated carbon as the cathode. Compared with the usual electrochemical capacitor working voltage, the capacitance had improved.

Composite nanostructured solid-acid fuel-cell electrodes via electrospray deposition [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Stable, porous, nanostructured composite electrodes were successfully fabricated via the inexpensive and scalable method of electrospray deposition, in which a dissolved solute is deposited onto a substrate using an electric field to drive droplet ...

Electrochemical Aptasensor for Detection of Dopamine [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
This work presents a proof of concept of a novel, simple, and sensitive method of detection of dopamine, a neurotransmitter within the human brain. We propose a simple electrochemical method for the detection of dopamine using a dopamine-specific aptamer

Revisiting cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy analysis for capacitance measurements

open access: yes, 2020
The electric properties of an electrode can be evaluated by the determination of the capacitance. However, the literature reports a large panel of experimental protocols for capacitance determination, which involve either cyclic voltammetry (CV) or ...

Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy study of lithium–sulfur batteries: Useful technique to reveal the Li/S electrochemical mechanism

open access: yesElectrochimica Acta, 2020
Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) study was done in order to go deeper into the electro- chemical processes of Li/S battery in a common CR2032 coin-type cell. In order to separate the con- tributions of each electrode (i. e.

Equivalent circuit model recognition of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy via machine learning [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Electroanalytical Chemistry, 2019
Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) is an effective method for studying the electrochemical systems. The interpretation of EIS is the biggest challenge in this technology, which requires reasonable modeling.

Enhancing Corrosion Resistance and Mechanical Strength of 3D‐Printed Iron Polylactic Acid for Marine Applications via Laser Surface Texturing

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Laser surface texturing significantly improves the corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of 3D‐printed iron polylactic acid (Ir‐PLA) for marine applications. Optimal laser parameters reduce corrosion by 80% and enhance tensile strength by 25% and ductility by 15%.
