On the Electrochemical Oxidation of Resveratrol [PDF]
AbstractResveratrol (3,5,4′‐trihydroxystilbene) is an organic metabolite produced by plants in response to fungal infection. It is found in various plant fruits and is abundant in the skins of unripe grapes and related products. This photosensitive molecule exists in two isomeric forms, trans and cis‐resveratrol. The antioxidant activity of resveratrol,

Electrochemical Oxidation of Quercetin [PDF]
AbstractThe mechanism of electrochemical oxidation of quercetin on a glassy carbon electrode has been studied using cyclic, differential pulse and square‐wave voltammetry at different pH. It proceeds in a cascade mechanism, related with the two catechol hydroxyl groups and the other three hydroxyl groups which all present electroactivity, and the ...

Kinetics and mechanism investigation of electro-oxidation of mesalazine drug in the presence of arylsulfinic acid [PDF]
In this research, the electrochemical oxidation of mesalazine was investigated in presence and absence of benzenesulfinic acid and 4-toluenesulfinic acid as a nucleophile using cyclic voltammetry and controlled-potential coulometry.

Electrochemical oxidation of methylenedioxyamphetamines
Four amphetamine derivatives bearing a methylenedioxy group at positions 3 and 4 of the benzene ring and differing in their substitution at C(6) were studied by differential pulse voltammetry in aqueous media. These experiments showed a single oxidation peak for the C(6)-H, -Br and -Cl compounds, while the C(6)-NO(2) analogue was not oxidized.

Silicate determination in sea water: toward a reagentless electrochemical method [PDF]
ilicate has been determined in sea water by four different electrochemical methods based on the detection of the silicomolybdic complex formed in acidic media by the reaction between silicate and molybdenum salts.
