Electrochemical oxidation of methylindoles
Collection of Czechoslovak Chemical Communications, 1981Electrochemical oxidation of 1-methylindole (I), 1,3-dimethylindole (II) and 1,2-dimethylindole (III) on a platinum anode in methanol, containing ammonium bromide, was studied. A more profound oxidation as compared with benzofuran or benzothiophene derivatives is indicated by the obtained products: 1-methyl-2,2-bis(1-methylindol-3-yl)-3-indolinone (IV),

Electrochemical oxidation of hypoxanthine
Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry and Interfacial Electrochemistry, 1981Abstract The electrochemical oxidation of hypoxanthine (6-oxypurine) in aqueous solution has been studied. The evidence strongly supports the view that hypoxanthine is initially electrooxidized in a 2 e −2H + reaction to give 6,8-dioxypurine. The latter compound is more easily oxidized than hypoxanthine and is immediately further electrooxidized to ...

Electrochemical oxidation of zopiclone
Monatshefte für Chemie - Chemical Monthly, 2015Electrochemical behaviour of zopiclone was investigated on glassy carbon electrode in static and rotation disc arrangement. Strong influence of kinetics and adsorption phenomena on the electrode processes was proved by voltammetric techniques. Controlled potential electrolysis in off-line and on-line combination with tandem mass spectrometry was ...

Electrochemical oxidation of thiobenzanilide
Electroanalysis, 1994AbstractThe electrochemical oxidation of thiobenzanilide was studied in anhydrous acetonitrile as a model for the enzymatic oxidation of the substance. It has been found that a single electron is exchanged in the presence of 5 × 10−2 M HClO4 The oxidation products were identified as H2S, benzanilide, and 2‐phenylbenzthiazole.

Electrochemical oxidation of nitroylides
Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR Division of Chemical Science, 1981The mechanisms of the electrochemical oxidation of mono- and dinitroylides of S and Se on a Pt electrode in CH3CN have been studied for the first time. It was shown that the cation radical formed as intermediate was able to react with the medium with removal of an H atom and with the formation of an onium cation or to undergo decomposition. Competition

Direct electrochemical oxidation of polyacrylates.
Annali di chimica, 2002A promising elimination treatment of non-biodegradable organic pollutants is the direct electro-oxidation. In this work has been proposed the electrochemical elimination of polyacrylates by using boron-doped diamond (BDD) as anodic material. The complete elimination of organic contaminants has been obtained and this is the first case of successful ...

Electrochemical Oxidation of Chlorophenols
Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, 1997Electrochemical 2-chlorophenol and 2,6-dichlorophenol removal from aqueous solutions using porous carbon felt anodes was investigated. Operating variables including current input, ratio between electrode and solution volumes, and initial pollutant concentration were considered in order to determine their influence on the faradic efficiency of the ...

Electrochemical Oxidation of Tolterodine
Electroanalysis, 2012AbstractThe electrochemical behavior of tolterodine, an antimuscarinic drug used to treat urge incontinence and overactive bladder, was investigated using cyclic and differential pulse voltammetry at glassy carbon electrode. Electrooxidation of tolterodine proceeds as a complex two‐step pH‐dependent process.
