Electrochemical and antioxidant properties of rutin

Collection of Czechoslovak Chemical Communications, 2010
The mechanism of electrochemical oxidation of rutin on a glassy carbon electrode was studied at different pH by using several electrochemical techniques (cyclic, linear sweep, differential pulse and square-wave voltammetry) in order to give deeper insight into the mechanism of electrochemical oxidation of rutin and adsorption of its oxidation products ...

Dendritic cavitands: preparation and electrochemical properties

Chem. Commun., 2002
A new series of dendrimers containing a central cavitand core with four appended Fréchet-type dendrons, linked to the core through 4,4'-bipyridinium (viologen) subunits, have been synthesized, characterized and their electrochemical properties investigated using cyclic voltammetric measurements.

Synthesis and electrochemical properties of substituted fulleropyrrolidines

Tetrahedron, 1996
Abstract A systematic investigation of the synthesis and electrochemical behavior of a series of fullerene derivatives containing an additional electroactive group, such as ferrocene and tetrathiafulvalene, is reported. The influence of the structure on the cyclic voltammetry is discussed.

Electrochemical properties of quartz

Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry, 1984
Abstract The electrochemical properties of colloidal quartz (Min-U-Sil) are determined using the complementary techniques of microelectrophoresis and potentiometric titration. Mobilities and surface charge densities are obtained as a function of concentration of NaCl and pH. Results are discussed in terms of electrical double layer theory.

Electrochemical properties of illites

Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 1991
Electrochemical analyses of two illitic clay minerals (Fithian and Muloorina illite) are presented and show these minerals to have similar surface chemistries. Aqueous acid/base potentiometric titration of suspensions of these clays, both prior to and after conversion to fully homoionic forms, indicates that analytic or titratable surface charge ...

Electrochemical properties of fullerenolanthanides

Tetrahedron, 1996
Abstract The cyclic voltammogram (CV) of Y@C 82 shows one reversible oxidation and four reversible reductions in 1,2-dichlorobenzene. The first redox potentials of Y@C 82 are anodically shifted by 30 and 50 mV, respectively, relative to those of La@C 82 .

Electrochemical properties of LiBr.H2O

Electrochimica Acta, 1981
Abstract The electrochemical properties of lithium bromide monohydrate have been investigated, using stainless steel and lithium electrodes. The electrolyte has been shown to be a lithium ion conductor, although it is not stable for more than two hours in contact with lithium.

Electrochemical properties of C60F36

Synthetic Metals, 1997
Abstract Electrochemical properties of C 60 F 36 have been studied by cyclic voltammetry in CH 2 Cl 2 containing 0.1 M tetrabutylammonium hexafluorophosphate. The electrochemical reductions of C 60 F 36 are reported for the first time. The first and second half-wave potentials for C 60 F 36 , respectively, are −0.05 and −0.48 V vs.

The Electrochemical Properties of the Thylakoid Membrane

1999
This chapter is focused on the electrochemical properties of the thylakoid membrane and illustrates their dependence on energization. Topics include primary reactions, charge separation, charge recombination, secondary electron flow, protonmotive force, charge dissipation and membrane conductance.

Electrochemical properties of corroded amalgams

European Journal of Oral Sciences, 1987
Three types of amalgam, one conventional, ANA 68, and two with high copper content, Dispersalloy (dispersed type) and ANA 2000 (single composition type), were investigated. The amalgams were immersed for periods of 7 wk at a time, up to 35 wk, in 23 ml (37 degrees C) of 0.9% NaCl aqueous solutions and in 0.9% NaCl solution buffered with NaH2PO4 (8.8 mM)
