To enhance stability and long‐term biocompatibility of wearable microneedle sensors, a crosslinking‐recombination bovine serum albumin material is used as a buffer layer coated on microneedle sensors. This coating layer possesses a unique stiff‐to‐soft transition function balancing the mechanical stiffness desired for puncturing and soft required for ...

Mass-related inversion symmetry breaking and phonon self-energy renormalization in isotopically labeled AB-stacked bilayer graphene [PDF]
A mass-related symmetry breaking in isotopically labeled bilayer graphene (2LG) was investigated during in-situ electrochemical charging of AB stacked (AB-2LG) and turbostratic (t-2LG) layers.

Emergent Freestanding Complex Oxide Membranes for Multifunctional Applications
This review surveys freestanding oxide membranes and covers fabrication and three pathways for studies and devices: strain‐free and strained membranes, and van der Waals‐integrated heterostructures. We show how coupled oxide responses map onto these routes and cross‐couple to expand behaviors.

Hydrogel‐Based 3D‐Printable Stretchable Pressure Sensor
We present a carbon‐black‐functionalized double‐network granular hydrogel (DNGH) pressure sensor capable of detecting pressures from 200 Pa, equivalent to a light finger touch, up to 500 kPa. The sensor exhibits signal drifts below 3.5% after 800 cycles and response times around 80 ms. Leveraging this broad sensing range, we 3D print this material into

Abstract An electrochemical reactor based on a moving graphite–polymer composite (GPC) cathode and boron-doped diamond anode is developed and used for the electrochemical water softening and treatment of artificial vacuum toilet wastewater. The magnetically actuated cathode is designed for the in situ removal of insoluble compounds, which usually ...

A Brief Review on Electro-generated Hydroxyl Radical for Organic Wastewater Mineralization [PDF]
Hydroxyl radical is a highly reactive oxidizing agent that can be electrochemically generated on the surface of Boron doped diamond (BDD) anode. Once generated, this radical will non-selectively mineralize organic pollutants to carbon dioxide, water and ...
