Urinary Cytokines in Predicting Intradetrusor Onabotulinumtoxin‐A Response

open access: yesNeurourology and Urodynamics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose The impact of asymptomatic bacteriuria and inflammation on response to Onabotulinumtoxin‐A for overactive bladder is poorly understood. This work compares baseline differences in asymptomatic bacteriuria status and urinary inflammatory markers between women who respond to Onabotulinumtoxin‐A and those who do not.

Disarming the Hsp70–Bim Alliance: Small‐Molecule and Peptidic Disruptors of a Chaperone‐Apoptotic Switch in Cancer

open access: yesChemistryOpen, EarlyView.
Targeting a nucleotide‐sensitive groove on Hsp70 that binds the Bim BH3 helix, we integrate structures, biophysics, and SAR from peptides, fragments, and phenalene‐dicarbonitrile “wedges.” These disrupt the Hsp70–Bim complex with sub‐µM cellular engagement and in vivo activity while sparing Hsp90/mortalin.

Clinical practice guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis secondary to ankylosing spondylitis

open access: yesRheumatology &Autoimmunity, EarlyView.
Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a chronic inflammatory disease that primarily affects the axial skeleton and is often associated with secondary osteoporosis. Currently, there are no established international consensus or guidelines for managing AS‐related osteoporosis (AS‐OP). This guideline was jointly developed by several Chinese academic institutions,

Ultrasensitive MicroRNA Detection Combining Reduced Graphene Oxide Electrolyte‐Gated Transistors and Machine Learning

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
We developed an ultrasensitive and highly selective biosensor by integrating bio‐functionalized reduced graphene oxide (rGO) electrolyte‐gated transistors (EGTs) and machine learning (ML) to detect miRNAs (miR‐34a, miR‐34b, and miR‐34c) associated with cancer and neurological disorders.

Angiogenic factors and fetal Doppler for predicting adverse pregnancy outcome in early‐onset small fetuses with and without pre‐eclampsia

open access: yesUltrasound in Obstetrics &Gynecology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives To assess the predictive performance of angiogenic factors and fetal Doppler, alone and in combination, for composite adverse perinatal outcome (CAPO) in early‐onset small‐for‐gestational age (SGA) and fetal growth restriction (FGR), in cases both with and without pre‐eclampsia (PE), in order to evaluate the ability of these markers

Advances in cholesterol and lipoproteins detection for healthcare: A review

open access: yesVIEW, EarlyView.
Cholesterol is one of the main biomarkers related to the development of cardiovascular diseases. Its detection still relies on traditional methods of analysis, such as gas and liquid chromatographies. Detection of free cholesterol in saliva with redox or enzymatic sensors or detection of lipoproteins in blood with aptamer sensors are currently the most
