Direct-Sequence-CDMA in Highly Sensitive Indirect Time-of-Flight Distance Sensor
This work presents the application of Direct-Sequence Code-Division-Multiple-Access (DS-CDMA) to tackle the primary problem of simultaneous multi-access of a shared light channel in an indirect Time-of-Flight measurement system based on on-off-keyed (OOK)

THE RESONANT OVERVOLTAGE IN NON-SINUSOIDAL MODE OF MAIN ELECTRIC NETWORK
Purpose. The resonant overvoltage arises in main electrical networks as a result of random coincidence of some parameters of circuit and its mode and it may exist for a relatively long time.

Study of light ions acceleration in a diode with a solid target and registration of nuclear proton-boron reaction products generated in the plasma diode [PDF]
The results of proton fluxes registration and the nuclear reactions (p + 11B > 3α) they induce on boron-containing targets in a plasma diode pinch, generated by irradiation of the anode target with a relativistic electron beam, are presented.

A new representation for solutions of Maxwell's equations is derived. Instead of being expanded in plane waves, the solutions are given as linear superpositions of spherical wavelets dynamically adapted to the Maxwell field and well-localized in space at the initial time.

Purpose. The aim of the work is to create a new method and device for monitoring the integrity of the coupling prisms, which will allow, with minor improvements in the design of individual measuring prisms, to obtain information on the state (damage) of ...

Simulating a toy model of electrodynamics in (1 + 1) dimensions [PDF]
We show how to simulate a toy model of electrodynamics in (1+1) dimensions and describe several numerical experiments. The toy model is much simpler than ordinary electrodynamics, but shares many of the same physical features.

Exotic Particle Dynamics Using Novel Hermitian Spin Matrices
In this work, an analogue to the Pauli spin matrices is presented and investigated. The proposed Hermitian spin matrices exhibit four symmetries for spin-1/n particles.
