Cerebral function monitoring in term or near term neonates at MDH : preliminary experience and proposal of a guideline [PDF]
Introduction: Cerebral function monitoring (CFM) is a simplified EEG device that is used to monitor cerebral function at the cot-side. Various studies have shown its value in detecting neonatal encephalopathy and electrographic seizures, prognostication ...

Electroencephalographic Correlates of the Speed (TIME) of the Central Processing of Information by the Higher Parts of Brain in Humans with the Different Individual-typological Features of the Higher Nervous Activity [PDF]
The speed (time) of the central processing of information (SCPI) by the higher parts of brain and electric activity of the cerebral cortex were studied using the method of electroencephalography (EEG) in humans with the different individual-typological ...

ABSTRACT Objective Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) is a rare, life‐threatening neurological emergency with unclear etiology in many cases. Mitochondrial dysfunction, often due to disease‐causing genetic variants, is increasingly recognized as a cause, with each gene producing distinct pathophysiological mechanisms.

Adult‐Onset Subacute Sclerosing Panencephalitis Presenting With Subacute Cognitive Deficits
ABSTRACT We describe the case of a 41‐year‐old man diagnosed with adult‐onset subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (SSPE). The patient presented with subacute progressive cognitive deficits and a neuropsychological profile indicating predominant frontoparietal dysfunction. MRI showed only mild parietal‐predominant cerebral atrophy.

ABSTRACT Background Emerging evidence suggests that low‐frequency neural oscillations are dynamically regulated by consciousness levels, with the recovery of low cortical activity potentially serving as a neurophysiological substrate for conscious emergence. Targeted enhancement of these low‐frequency rhythms in patients with disorders of consciousness
