Pattern of electrolyte leakage in downy mildew affected sorghum

Experientia, 1974

Phenotypic Analysis of Arabidopsis Mutants: Electrolyte Leakage after Freezing Stress

Cold Spring Harbor Protocols, 2010
INTRODUCTIONAbiotic stress such as high salt or low temperature adversely affects plant growth and development. Salt stress inhibits seed germination, retards plant growth, and accelerates senescence. Freezing or drought stress can cause cell damage and plant death.

The electrolyte leakage method can be misleading for assessing the frost hardiness of roots

Plant Biosystems - An International Journal Dealing with all Aspects of Plant Biology, 2008
Abstract The relative electrolyte leakage (REL) method is often used to assess the frost hardiness of plant organs. However, testing the frost hardiness of roots with REL yields different results when the roots are frozen while remaining in the soil or in some other substrate than when REL follows a freezing test made on excised root segments.

Effect of Encapsulation on Electrolyte Leakage in Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors Under Constant Thermal and Electrical Loading

2014
This study focuses on the influence of encapsulation (with silicone elastomer potting compound) on electrolyte leakage in aluminum electrolytic capacitors. Experiments were conducted on potted capacitors at constant elevated temperature and rated DC voltage, and results were compared to those from a control batch of unpotted capacitors. The weight, ESR
