Electrochemical Behavior of Flame‐Sprayed Sc‐Doped AlCoCrFeMo High‐Entropy Alloy Coatings in 3.5% Sodium Chloride Solution

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Scandium (Sc)‐doped AlCoCrFeMo HEA coatings are fabricated via flame spraying with 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 wt% Sc additions. Among these, the HEA‐Sc0.3 coating exhibits the highest corrosion resistance, indicated by a more positive corrosion potential and lower current density.

Effect of plasma electrolytic polishing on the surface morphology and mechanical properties of CuCrZr porous structure fabricated by selective laser melting

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology
Due to the low laser absorption rate and high thermal conductivity of the copper alloy powder, results in poor surface quality of CuCrZr alloy porous structure fabricated by selective laser melting (SLM), which limits its research and application ...

Preparation and Characterization of Near Nano Copper Powder by Electrolytic Route

open access: yesInternational Journal of Nonferrous Metallurgy, 2014
For the preparation of copper nanoparticles several methods, i.e., thermal reduction, mechanical attrition, chemical reduction metal vapour synthesis, radiation methods, laser ablation and micro emulsion techniques were developed in the past. Electrolytic deposition is one of the most suitable, simplest and low cost methods which are used for wide ...

Cathodic Cage Plasma Deposition of Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se Coatings on Poly(methyl Methacrylate)

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se coatings are deposited on PMMA by a modified cathodic cage plasma process, enabling low‐temperature deposition on polymer substrates. A transition from discontinuous to compact morphology is observed with temperature, with optimal properties at 200°C, where improved CuFeSe2‐type bonding, lowest sheet resistance, and favorable ...

Electrophoretic Deposition and Characterization of Copper Selenide Thin Films [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Various methods have been developed to produce thin semiconductor films. One of the potential methods is electrophoretic deposition (EPD) due to simple experimental set up, shorter deposition time, low cost and versatility.

Exploring Dipolar Dynamics and Ionic Transport in Metal‐Organic Frameworks: Experimental and Theoretical Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, the interplay of dipolar dynamics and ionic charge transport in MOF compounds is investigated. Synthesizing the novel structure CFA‐25 with integrated freely rotating dipolar groups, local and macroscopic effects, including interactions with Cs cations are explored.

Relations between Electrolytic Conditions and Properties of the Deposited Copper Powders

open access: yesJournal of the Japan Society of Powder and Powder Metallurgy, 1964
In manufacturing metal powders by the electrolytic process, it is well known that properties of powders deposited depend on electrolytic conditions to be employed. In this paper, the properties of the copper powders which were electrodeposited from copper sulphate solution, were studied in relation to their electrolytic conditions.
