Magnetic‐field‐assisted CVD of heterometallic single‐source precursors modulates thin‐film surface electronic structure and interfacial charge transfer. Field‐grown (Cobalt ferrite‐1T)CF‐1T films exhibit stabilized electronic states, lower kinetic barriers, and markedly enhanced nitrate‐to‐ammonia electrocatalysis versus (Cobalt ferrite‐0T) CF‐0T ...

Blood Biomarkers and Surface‐Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy for Gout: A Comprehensive Review
Schematic illustrating gout disease progression from asymptomatic hyperuricemia to chronic tophaceous disease, highlighting the limitations of conventional imaging and biochemical diagnostics and the potential of engineered SERS platforms for ultrasensitive blood‐based detection of urate‐related biomarkers across disease stages, with the color gradient

Electromagnetic inductance tomography (EMT): sensor, electronics and image reconstruction for a system with a rotatable parallel excitation. [PDF]
The main features and principle of operation of an electromagnetic inductance tomography system are described. The system can image the distribution of electrically conducting and/or magnetically permeable materials and is analogous to the other ...

Metasurfaces and other structured photonic environments can dramatically modify the absorption and/or light emission of semiconductors. However, the consequences of these changes on the temperature of the system are not well understood. The authors address this problem for colloidal nanocrystals and leverage their findings to convert light into ...

The Electromagnet and Electromagnetic Mechanism
Silvanus P. Thompson (1851–1916) was an engineer and physicist who researched aspects of electricity, magnets and optics. He spent his career teaching, first as a professor in Bristol and later in London, at the City and Guilds Finsbury Technical College, and he was a frequent public speaker on scientific matters.

An Electromagnetic Problem [PDF]
THE problem noticed by Mr. Comstock in NATURE of November 19, 1908, is an interesting one, but I do not see how the “laws of electricity and conservation of energy require in themselves the discrete structure of electricity or the association of electricity with matter.” The electromagnetic field produced by a uniform spherical sheet of electricity ...

MXene Wrapped Magnetic Mesocrystals for Durable Redox Catalytic Cancer Therapy and Responsive MRI
Conformal wrapping of ultrathin Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets on Fe3O4 mesocrystals creates topology‐stabilized Schottky junctions that direct photoinduced electron transfer under NIR irradiation. The unique architecture sustains Fenton catalysis, promotes continuous hydroxyl radical production, and provides photo‐responsive MRI contrast.

Low‐Profile, High‐Gain GRIN RF Lenses via Multi‐Material Vat Photopolymerization
We investigate the opportunity of leveraging multi‐material vat photopolymerization printing to manufacture intricate lenses exhibiting permittivity gradients that can increase signal gain in transmitted radiofrequency signals in the X‐ and Ku‐bands. Lenses produced with more distinct low‐loss materials (up to 5) can deliver an 18 dB signal gain with a
