Adaptive Twisting Metamaterials

This work introduces torque‐controlled twisting metamaterials as a transformative platform for adaptive crashworthiness. Liquid Metal Microrobots for Magnetically Guided Transvascular Navigation

Liquid metal‐based microrobots combine magnetic steering, intrinsic X‐ray visibility and softness, to navigate blood vessels even against flow. Under clinically relevant magnetic fields, liquid metal microrobots roll along vessel walls, cross endothelial barriers, and accumulate in target tissues.

A magnetic fluid actuator using electromagnetic force

In this paper a new actuator that uses magnetic fluid is proposed. The new actuator uses electromagnetic force driven by a solenoid coil, which is controlled by the electric current of the coil. Theoretical and experimental results confirm the feasibility of the actuator.
