Electromagnetics analysis codes
IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium 1992 Digest, 1992It has become necessary in the aerospace industry to analyze and design air vehicles with significant emphasis on reducing radar cross section (RCS). Highly complex air vehicle geometries ranging from a few wavelengths in size to a few thousand wavelengths are described using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) systems.

An analysis of electromagnetic forces
Electrical Engineering, 1945Certain concepts of physics and electromagnetism conflict on several points, chiefly because of the latter's lack of general equations for the reaction of electrical particles. In this article the author introduces a few fundamental electrodynamic concepts and deduces from them some of the commonly used formulas for forces exerted on current-carrying ...

A Coupled Electromagnetic and Mechanical Analysis of Electromagnetic Acoustic Transducers
International Journal for Computational Methods in Engineering Science and Mechanics, 2009In this paper a comprehensive finite element analysis of Electromagnetic Acoustic Transducer (EMAT) is presented. The analysis has been performed using complete and incomplete expressions for excitation current and results have been compared with published data to assess the accuracy of the complete expression approach.

Electromagnetic Analysis for SRM
2021As we know, SRMs are considered to be very competitive candidates for the next generation drive system and they have already been successfully applied in electric vehicles, mining machinery, aircraft and other fields, because of their simple and cost-effective construction, mechanical and thermal robustness, wide speed range as well as reliability (Hu ...

Electromagnetic waveguide analysis
2012At their core, Maxwell’s equations are a set of differential equations describing the interactions between electric and magnetic fields, charges and currents. These equations provide the tools with which to predict the behavior of electromagnetic phenomena, giving us the ability to use them in a wide variety of applications, including communication and

SphericalMultipole Analysis in Electromagnetics
2009The vector spherical-multipole analysis is a systematic technique to represent any solenoidal electromagnetic field within a linear and partially homogeneous medium by means of a compact, orthogonal, and physically interpretable series expansion. By utilizing sphero-conal coordinates a large variety of interesting scattering and diffraction problems ...
