Electromagnetic load evaluating and optimizing approach of the blanket system during VDEs considering halo current

open access: yesNuclear Fusion, 2023
In most scenarios, the vertical displacement event (VDE) represents the most extreme electromagnetic (EM) event within the tokamak device. The significant EM loads experienced during this event have the potential to compromise the structural stability of

Electromagnetic analysis of arbitrarily shaped pinched carpets

open access: yes, 2010
We derive the expressions for the anisotropic heterogeneous tensors of permittivity and perme- ability associated with two-dimensional and three-dimensional carpets of an arbitrary shape. In the former case, we map a segment onto smooth curves whereas in

Electromagnetic Forming Process Analysis Based on Coupled Simulations of Electromagnetic Analysis and Structural Analysis [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Magnetics, 2016
We conducted a phased electromagnetic forming process analysis (EFPA) over time through a coupling of electromagnetic analysis and structural analysis. The analysis is conducted through a direct linkage between electromagnetic analysis and structural analysis.

Slight Truncation Changes in Iron Oxide Nanocubes Strongly Affect Their Magnetic Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Subtle variations in nanoparticle morphology can lead to significant changes in functional properties. An automated shape‐fitting method captures minor differences in corner truncation between iron oxide nanocubes of similar sizes synthesized under identical conditions, revealing pronounced disparities in their magnetic and hyperthermia behavior ...

Nanoscale Mapping of Plasmonic Charge Transport in Nano‐Resonators Based on Resistive Switching Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this strategy, a conductive nano‐probe is employed to induce nanoscale phase transitions and map the nanoscale conductivity and trap density of GST films. By utilizing the contrasting properties of phase‐change states, nano‐resonators are fabricated that exhibit plasmonic conduction and dramatically different transport characteristics.

Analysis Of Electromagnetic Field On Transmission Line To Human Using Infinite Element Method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The use of high voltage is not only to reduce power losses but also to produce electromagnetic field near the transmission line. This electromagnetic field is harmful to humans near the transmission line.

Circular‐Polarization‐Sensitive Organic Photodetectors with a Chiral Nanopatterned Electrode Inverse‐Designed by Genetic Algorithm

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A chiral photodetector capable of selectively distinguishing left‐ and right‐handed circularly polarized light is experimentally demonstrated. The device, which features a nanopatterned electrode inverse‐designed by a genetic algorithm within a metal–dielectric–metal nanocavity that incorporates a vacuum‐deposited small‐molecule multilayer, exhibits ...

High-Frequency Modeling and Analysis of Single-Layer NiZn Ferrite Inductors for EMI Filtering in Power Electronics Applications

open access: yesEnergies
In the high-frequency (HF) region, specifically within the 150 kHz to 30 MHz range for conducting electromagnetic interference (EMI) modeling, NiZn inductors exhibit enhanced efficiency due to their low core losses and stable permeability.
